a new project

collaborations:

At ipse wilderness, we facilitate journeys, workshops and day walks, working with local partners to provide therapeutic wilderness adventures. We love working together with groups and other agencies to create meaningful experiences. We can create bespoke experiences, alternative stag and hen dos, corporate events and unique retreats for teams of all kinds.

daisy chain walks:

I am thrilled that ipse wilderness has been successful in our application for funding from the South Downs National Park Authority to provide a series of walks for adults with hidden disabilities.

The funding was provided in order to improve access to the national park for people affected by COVID-19, and the aim of the project is to enable people with hidden disabilities to experience the immersive challenge of a multi-day walk on a long-distance footpath in a safe and supported environment.

We’ll be walking 7 miles of the South Downs Way, on three days, spread over a few weeks in the early spring next year. The project is fully funded, the walks will comprise facilitated conversations to support well-being and will be supported by a physiotherapist. Transport will be provided.

I’d really love to hear from anyone who’d be interested in securing one of the funded places on this project. Please get in touch to find out more.
