Celebrate a New Years' Eve with a difference!
Find your wild tribe on a day walk on the South Downs with reflection, celebration and intention-setting to end 2019 and welcome in 2020, culminating in a heroic wild-camp, and even a wild-swim, if the weather allows!
Route: Circular section of the South Downs over Seven Sisters and through Friston forest.
Accommodation: Tents for wild camping.
Difficulty: Stretching; walking distance 8 miles, hilly terrain, pace 3 mph, cold/wet weather likely!
Programme:
Day 1 31st: Meet at East Dean. Walk along SDW over Seven Sisters. Cafe lunch at Exceat. Pub supper in East Dean. NYE celebration. Wild camping overnight.
Day 2 1st: Pack up camp. Short walk to viewpoint. Wild swim. Breakfast at Birling Gap cafe.
Cost: £50. Includes all activities. Food and drink not included.
